Promoting SUSTainable consumer behavior through AI-enabled Nudging

The SustAIn research project builds on the notion that smart nudging has a major role to play in tackling environmental challenges, driven largely by unsustainable consumption.

The major objective of the SustAIn project is to explore the use of AI moderated nudges in promoting sustainable consumer behavior. The project aims to investigate the underlying psychological mechanisms and to identify moderators and boundary conditions. The findings are expected to generate important implications for consumer decision making, marketing strategy and policy making.

The research project “SustAIn-Promoting SUSTainable consumer behavior through AI-enabled Nudging” is implemented in the framework of H.F.R.I call “3rd Call for H.F.R.I.’s Research Projects to Support Faculty Members & Researchers” (H.F.R.I. Project Number: 25719).
